1) Lay Ministry Staff (Pastoral Care Ministry)

If you possess a theological degree, join us as part of a caring and dynamic team to build up a vibrant Pastoral Care Ministry (small group ministry).

Your responsibilities include disciplining, equipping and edifying believers to serve in Faith MC, developing and mentoring leaders, fostering Christian community through effective pastoral care, inspiring leaders to connect with God through worship and prayer, harnessing the leaders' spiritual gifts for ministry, building leaders into maturity in Christ and advocating a witnessing lifestyle.

2) Lay Ministry Staff (Youth)/ Youth Worker

You will provide leadership to the youth ministry in the church and in Anglo-Chinese Junior College, to equip, empower and enable every youth to fulfil God's purposes of worship, outreach, discipleship, fellowship and ministry in their lives.

Your duties will include extending pastoral care to youths, teaching, planning and execution of events, implementing outreach efforts to youths, assisting the Boys'/Girls' Brigade Chaplain in his/her ministry, etc.

3) Lay Ministry Staff (International Ministry) 

You will work with the International Ministry Director to supervise overseas projects, provide support for Faith International Ministry workers and equip volunteers for ministry. This position will require occasional travelling as part of the work scope.

You should possess a basic theological degree with at least five years of working experience. Some form of cross-cultural missions experience is preferred. Project management skills would be a bonus.

4) Lay Executive Staff (FaithConnexions)

You will work with ministry leaders to provide leadership to the FaithConneXions ministry to oversee volunteer management in the church. Your duties include helping volunteers discover their SHAPE (spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, and experiences), deploying volunteers into suitable ministries, and enabling volunteer development and care through training and equipping both ministry leaders and volunteers. The Candidate should be proficient in IT and administration. Relevant experience in training and volunteer management would be a bonus.

• Degree holder in social work or equivalent.
• Min 4 years of working experience in the social service sector, with experience in casework and counselling, and either youth work or eldercare preferred.
• Fluent in English and a second language (e.g. Mandarin, Malay, Tamil)
• Meticulous and resourceful individual who is able to manage multiple demands effectively.
• Demonstrates leadership ability to spearhead programmes and services through strategic planning, implementation and outcome evaluation.
• Interest in casework, counselling and group work.
• Mature individual who is responsible for professional development of social workers  

2) Social Worker

• Degree holder in social work or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the social service sector, with experience in youth work, and casework and counselling preferred.

• Demonstrates project management ability to network with partner organisations regarding clients’ welfare and volunteer management.
• Interest in participating in therapeutic work with youths and their families.
 

3) Social Work Assistant / Youth Worker

• Diploma with prior work or volunteering experience in social service sector.
• Assist in planning, execution and evaluation of programmes.
• Fluent in English and a second language (e.g. Mandarin, Malay, Tamil)
• Assist in coordination of volunteer management and development initiatives.
• Interest in outreach work with youths and their families.
